ARTIST TALK WITH LUVIA LAZO
In collaboration with The Bronx Documentary Center
Luvia Lazo is a Zapotec photographer. Her work documents the transformation of identity, generational gaps, grief, and the way in which human beings inhabit the spaces with reminiscent of our beliefs and culture.
This time, Retina had the pleasure of presenting photographer Luvia Lazo, who spoke to us about her photographic process. Among the topics she discussed were her Kanitlow project and her recent work-in-progress focusing on twin sisters in New Jersey, this time shifting toward the Polaroid format. It was a true pleasure to share this conversation with her.
